Asking for leave from place of work / schools / colleges...Foreword

We need to ask for leave of absence from our supervisors, bosses or mentors if we have to miss going to our place of work or education. The reasons for asking leave can be diverse , it can be due to an ailment, doctors apointment, family responsibilities, marriages and functions, children's school PTM's, travelling for vacation or for personal reasons, house shifting etc. The leave might be for a day, for a number of days or just a request to leave early.	अगर हमें अपने काम या शिक्षा में जाने से चूकना (छुट्टी लेना) है तो हमें अपने पर्यवेक्षकों, मालिकों या सलाहकारों से अनुपस्थिति की छुट्टी मांगनी होगी। छुट्टी मांगने के कारण विविध हो सकते हैं, यह बीमारी, डॉक्टरों से अपायंटमेंट, पारिवारिक जिम्मेदारियों, विवाह और कार्यों, बच्चों की स्कूल पीटीएम, छुट्टी में यात्रा के लिए या व्यक्तिगत कारणों से, घर स्थानांतरित करने आदि के कारण हो सकता है। छुट्टी एक दिन के लिए हो सकती है, कई दिनों के लिए या बस जल्दी जाने का अनुरोध।
Always remember to greet and be polite when about to make a request for leave. Some useful phrases to use are, Would it be possible for me to leave a little early today?, Do you think I might be able to get three days off starting ...?, Will it be fine if......?, Would you mind if....?, I was hoping to get.....?, I would really appreciate if... .?.
