Kinds of Verb
Intransitive Verb
वह क्रिया जिसे वाक्य में पूरे अर्थ को व्यक्त करने के लिए ऑब्जेक्ट की जरूरत नही पड़ती, इन्ट्रांसिटिव वर्ब कहलाती है। दूसरे शब्दों में,जिस क्रिया से किसी ऑब्जेक्ट का उपयोग किए बिना वाक्य का पूरा अर्थ समझ आ जाए उसे Intransitive Verb कहते हैं।
A verb which does not require an object in a sentence is an Intransitive verb.
In other words, the verb with which the full meaning of the sentence is understood without using any object is called Intransitive Verb.
Examples:
| Kanika is not weeping. | कनिका रो नहीं रही है। |
| She is laughing. | वह हंस रही है। |
| It has rained. | बारिश हो चुकी है। |
| The Sun shines. | सूरज चमकता है। |
| Birds chirp in the morning. | पक्षी सुबह चहकते हैं। |
| It is burning. | यह जल रहा है। |
Forms of Verbs
क्रिया की तीन फ़ॉर्म होती है - जैसे वर्ब Break-तोड़ना की तीन फ़ॉर्म इस प्रकार है - (1) पहली फ़ॉर्म - तोड़ता है (2) द्वितीय फ़ॉर्म - तोड़ा (3) तृतीय फ़ॉर्म - तोड़ा था।
Verb has three forms - (1) Base form - Ist Form (2) Past Simple - 2nd Form (3) Past Participle - 3rd Form
For example, Break – broke – broken. “Break" is the base form, “broke" is the past simple form, and “broken" is the past participle form.
These three forms are known as 1st form, 2nd form and 3rd form of verb.
