Over - के उपर से
किसी चीज के ऊपर या किसी चीज पर, किसी बाधा को पार करने या दूसरी ओर जाने के लिए।	On top of something or on another thing, overcoming a obstacle or going to another side.
पक्षी उसके सिर के ऊपर से गुजरा।	The bird passed over his head.
आइए पहले एक शांत मनोस्थिति में आ जाएँ।	Let's get over to a relaxed state of mind first.
वे पुल पर चलने जा रहे हैं।	They are going to walk over the bridge.
Under - के अधीन, के नीचे
किसी चीज के नीचे या किसी के अधीन	A thing below something or under someone
क्या आपने पलंग के नीचे देखा है?	Have you looked under the bed?
डॉक्टरों ने सीमाजी को 48 घंटों के लिए निगरानी में रखा है।	The doctors have kept Seemaji under observation for 48 hours.
बच्चा टेबल के नीचे छिपा है।	The child is hiding under the table.
Across - के ओर पार, उस पार से, सभी ओर
दूसरी तरफ जाना।	Getting to the other side.
उन्होंने देश भर में अपना कारोबार स्थापित किया है।	He has established his business across the country.
नाविक अरब सागर के पार आ गए थे।	The sailors had come across the Arabian Sea.
क्या आप पिछले साल के दौरान कभी भी सुनीता के संपर्क में आय थे?	Did you come across Sunita anytime during the last year?
रोहन को नदी को 15 मिनट में तैर कर पार करना होगा।	Rohan has to swim across the river in 15 minutes.

Above - बढ़कर, उपर
किसी चीज से ऊँचा।	Higher than something.
मेरी नोटबुक ढ़ेर में आपकी नोटबुक के ऊपर है।	My notebook is above yours in the stack.
मम्मी जो करन को बताने की कोशिश कर रही थी वह उसके सिर के ऊपर से जा रहा था।	What mum was trying to tell Karan, was going above his head.
आपने उपरोक्त पैराग्राफ में चिन्हित चेतावनी को देखा है?	Have you seen the warning marked in the above paragraph?
Below - से नीचे
किसी चीज से कम लेकिन जमीन के ऊपर या उसके नीचे हो सकती है।	Lower than something but can be above the ground or under it.
संजय की कार नीचे के स्तर पर खड़ी है	Sanjay's car is parked on a level below.
पृथ्वी की सतह के नीचे बहुत सारे प्राकृतिक खजाने हैं।	There are lots of natural treasures below the earth's surface.
Beside बगल में
किसी चीज या किसी के पास बायाँ या दायाँ या अगला।	Left or right or next to something or somebody.
पुरस्कार समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि के बगल में कौन बैठेगा?	At the awards ceremony who will sit beside the chief guest?
पार्क एकदम सर्ववस्तु भंडार के बगल में है।	The park is just beside the departmental store.
उसकी पालतू बिल्ली हमेशा उसके बगल में रहती है।	Her pet cat is always beside her.
