Why
'Why (क्यों)' एक इंटेरोगेटिव और रिलेटिव एड़वर्ब है। 'Why' का प्रयोग 'क्या उद्देश्य', 'क्या कारण', 'किस भावना', 'किस मकसद' आदि को जानने के लिये किया जाता है।
'Why' is an interrogative and relative adverb. It is used to know 'for what purpose', 'for what reason' or 'for what cause', 'with what intention', 'with what justification' 'with what motive', etc.
Examples:
| आकाश नीला क्यों है? | Why is the sky blue? |
| तुम इंग्लिश क्यों सीखना चाहते हो? | Why do you want to learn English? |
| मैं तुम्हारी तरह क्यों सोचता हूँ? | Why do I think like you? |
| तुमने अपनी नौकरी क्यों छोड़ी? | Why did you quit your job? |
| उसने टेबल क्यों तोड़ी? | Why did he break the table? |
| अव्यन ने मेंड़ी को क्यों नही बुलाया? | Why Avyan did not call Mandy? |
| तुम यहाँ पर क्यों हो? | Why are you here? |
| कोई वजह नही है, क्यों मधुर को नोइड़ा नही आना चाहिये? | There is no reason why Madhur should not come to Noida? |
| वे क्यों सफल हुए उसका कारण स्पष्ट है। उन्होनें वास्तव में कड़ी मेहनत की। | The reason why they succeeded is quite obvious. They worked really hard. |
| मुझे बताओ वह क्यों रो रहा है? | Tell me why is he weeping? |
| मुझे 2 अच्छे कारण बताओ की मुझे दोबारा यहाँ क्यों आना चाहिये। | Give me two good reasons why I should come here again. |
| यह परखना आसान है की क्यों वह उसके प्यार में पड़ी। | It is easy to judge why she fell in love with him. |
| वह एक अच्छा खिलाड़ी है। इसीलिये उसने टीम बनाई। | He is a good player. That is why he formed the team. |
