General Rules of Negative and Interrogative Sentences
आइए एक नज़र डालते हैं वाक्यों के प्रकार और उनके नियमों पर:
Let's take a look at the types of sentences and their rules:
| Simple Affirmative Sentence | |
| The form of Helping verb 'Be' - 'is / are / am / was / were' is used after the Subject in the sentence. | सकारात्मक वाक्य में सहायक क्रिया 'Be' के रूप - 'is / are / am / was / were' का प्रयोग कर्ता के बाद किया जाता है। |
| Simple Negative Sentence | |
| The form of Helping verb 'Be' - 'is / are / am / was / were' Plus 'Not' is used in the sentence. | नकारात्मक वाक्य में सहायक क्रिया 'Be' के रूप - 'is / are / am / was / were' के साथ 'not' जोड़कर प्रयोग किया जाता है। |
| Simple Interrogative Sentence | |
| The forms of Helping verb 'Be' - 'is/are/am/was/were' is used before Subject at the beginning of a sentence and in place of Full stop(.) Question Mark (?) is used. | प्रश्नात्मक वाक्य में सहायक क्रिया 'Be' के रूप - 'is / are / am / was / were' का प्रयोग कर्ता से पहले वाक्य की शुरुआत में किया जाता है और पूर्ण विराम (.) के स्थान पर प्रश्न चिह्न (?) का प्रयोग किया जाता है। |
दोहराना: प्रश्नात्मक वाक्य में हम हमेशा प्रश्न पूछते हैं और वाक्य प्रश्न चिह्न (?) लगाकर समाप्त होता है। नकारात्मक पूछताछ वाक्यों में, हम 'नहीं' शब्द जोड़ते हैं, और हम कहां 'नहीं' जोड़ते हैं, वाक्य के प्रकार पर निर्भर करता है।
Rewind: In an interrogative sentence, we always ask a question, and the sentence ends in a question mark (?). In negative interrogative sentences, we add the word 'not', and where we add 'not', depends on the type of sentence.

| This is a crocodile. | यह मगरमच्छ है। |
| This is not a crocodile. | यह मगरमच्छ नही है। |
| Is this a crocodile? | क्या यह मगरमच्छ है? |
| Is this not a crocodile? | क्या यह मगरमच्छ नही है? |
