Let

'लेट' अंग्रेजी भाषा के सबसे कॉमन शब्दों में से एक है। इसका साधारण अर्थ है - इजाजत देना, अनुमति देना और भाड़े पर देना। 'भाड़े पर देना' के तौर पर 'LET' का इस्तेमाल बाकि क्रिया शब्दों की तरह ही होता है। आइए हम वाक्यों में 'Let' के अन्य प्रयोगों को समझते हैं:

'Let' is a common word in the English language. It simply means - to allow, to give permission and to give on rent. The use of 'LET' as 'give on rent' is similar to other verbs. Let's understand the other uses of 'Let' in sentences:-

Giving permission to do something: कुछ करने की अनुमति देना:
उन्हें ट्रेकिंग अवकाश पर जाने दें।	Let them go on a trekking holiday.
मैं उन्हें नृत्य शो के लिए तैयारी करने दूँगा।	I will let them prepare for the dance show.
To permit something to continue:- कुछ जारी रखने के लिए अनुमति देना:
उत्सव जारी रखें।	Let the celebration continue.
इस कार्य को आपके अभ्यास को ना रोकने दें।	Don’t let this work stop your practice.
To ask for permission:- अनुमति के लिए पूछना:-
मुझे पैसा दान करने दें।	Let me donate money.
उसे सोने के लिए जाने दो।	Let her go to sleep.

Rules of Let

Type of Sentence	Rule
Positive / Affirmative	Let + Subject + Verb (Ist form)+ Object.
Negative	Do Not + Let + Subject + Verb (Ist form) + Object.

Note:

1. हम 'Let' के बाद 'To' का उपयोग नहीं करते हैं।	1. We do not use 'To' after 'Let'.
2. अगर हम कुछ करने के लिए बहुत उत्सुक हैं, तो हम सकारात्मक वाक्य में 'Let' से पहले 'Do' लिखते हैं।	2. If we are very keen on doing something, then we write 'Do' before 'Let' in Positive Sentence.
