ELC-2nd Day

Present Indefinite Tense

Subject - 1st Person/2nd Person/3rd Person:

First-person Singular	Speaking person बोलने वाला व्यक्ति	I	मैं
First-person Plural		We	हम
Second-person Singular	Person to whom the Subject speaks. जिसे कर्ता सबोधित करता है.	You	तुम
Second-person Plural		You	तुम
Third-person Singular	Everything except I, we & you मैं, हम और तुम को छोड़ कर बाकि सब चीजें	He, She, It, This, That, Ram, Cat, Pen, Girl, etc.	वह, यह, वह, राम, बिल्ली, कलम, लड़की, आदि।
Third-person Plural		They, These, Those, Dogs, Doctors, Boys, etc.	वे, ये, वे, कुत्ते, डॉक्टर, लड़के, आदि।

Rule of Present Indefinite Tense: Subject + Verb (Ist form) + s/es + Object + . Note: 's/es' is added only with 3rd person singular subject.
आइए उपरोक्त नियम के अनुसार एक वाक्य बनाते हैं।	Let's make a sentence with as per above Rule.
सब्जेक्ट = मैं, क्रिया = पढ़ना और ऑब्जेक्ट = अंग्रेजी व्याकरण	Subject = I, Verb = read and Object = English Grammar
वाक्य बना: मैं अंग्रेज़ी व्याकरण पढ़ता हूँ।	Sentence made: I read English grammar.
यहाँ सब्जेक्ट Ist-person है इसलिए क्रिया के साथ 's / es' नहीं जोड़ा है। यदि हम सब्जेक्ट को 'I' से 'Ram' में बदलते हैं तो हम 's / es' को क्रिया के साथ जोड़ देंगे क्योंकि 'Ram' एक 3-person singular सब्जेक्ट है।	Here Subject is Ist-person hence 's/es' is not added with the verb. If we change the subject from 'I' to 'Ram' then we will add 's/es' with the verb because 'Ram' is a 3rd-person singular subject.
वाक्य बनेगा: राम अंग्रेज़ी व्याकरण पढ़ता है।	Sentence will be formed: Ram reads English Grammar

Look at the examples:

मैं एक स्कूल में पढ़ता हूँ।	I study in a School.
वे सुबह देर से उठते हैं।	They get up late in the morning.
वह कॉलेज में पढ़ता है।	He studies in college.
कुत्ता भौंकता है।	Dog barks.
वह अपने माता-पिता का कहना मानती है।	She obeys her parents.
मैं उसे रोज पढ़ाता हूँ।	I teach her daily.
वह हर बात में मुझसे परामर्श करता है।	He consults everything with me.
हम स्कूल इकट्ठे जाते हैं।	We go to school together.
वह रोज पढ़ता है।	He reads daily.
मैं रोज पार्क जाता हूँ।	I go to park daily.
तुम पढ़ाई में ध्यान देते हो।	You pay attention to study.
नेता इलेक्शन के दिनों में भाषण देते हैं।	Leaders deliver speech during election days.
हम जयपुर जाने की योजना बनाते हैं।	We plan to go to Jaipur.
वह घर जाता है।	He goes home.
मां अपने बच्चे की रक्षा करने के लिए झूठ बोलती है।	Mother tells a lie to protect her child.
