Past Perfect Tense -Interrogative And Interrogative-Negative की हिन्दी में पहचान: वाक्यों के अन्त में 'आया था', 'गया था', 'चुका था', 'चुकी थी', 'चुके थे' आदि का प्रयोग होता है। हम भूतकाल की किसी क्रिया या स्थिति के बारे में बात करने के लिए Past Perfect Tense का उपयोग करते हैं जो किसी भी अन्य भूतकाल की स्थिति या गतिविधि से पहले हुई हो, या अतीत में किसी विशेष समय से पहले हुई हो। प्रश्नात्मक वाक्य वाक्य के आरम्भ में 'क्या' का प्रयोग और प्रश्नात्मक-नकारात्मक वाक्य के बीच में 'नही' का प्रयोग भी आवश्यक है।
प्रश्नात्मक वाक्य - Had' से वाक्य का आरम्भ होता है। प्रश्नात्मक-नकारात्मक वाक्य भी Had' से आरम्भ होता है और 'Not' को क्रिया से पहले लगाते हैं। दोनो प्रकार के वाक्यों के अन्त में प्रश्नवाचक चिन्ह (?)लगाया जाता है।

We use the past perfect tense to talk about an action or situation in the past that occurred before any other past situation or activity, or occurred before at a particular time in the past. It is commonly used for two past activities or situations in a sentence where the second activity takes place after the end of the first activity.
Interrogative sentence - 'Had' comes in the beginning of the sentence.
Interrogative & Negative sentence - 'Had'comes in the beginning and 'Not' is added between the Subject and the Verb.
Question Mark (?) is affixed at the end of both the sentences in place of Full Stop (.).

Rules of Past Perfect Tense -Interrogative And Interrogative-Negative

Type of Sentence	Rule
Interrogative	Had + Subject + Verb (3rd form) + Object + (?)
Interrogative-Negative	Had + Subject + Not + Verb (3rd form) + Object + (?)

Look at these sentences:

क्या आप एक हफ्ते से बीमार थे?	Had you been sick for a week?
क्या वह छह साल तक चंडीगढ़ में नहीं रहती थी?	Had she not lived in Chandigarh for six years?
क्या आप समय से पहले परीक्षा हॉल में पहुँच गए थे?	Had you reached the examination hall before time?
क्या ट्रेन उसके वहाँ पहुँचने से पहले ही निकल गई थी?	Had the train left before she reached there?
क्या तुमने कभी एक बड़ा ठोस हीरा देखा था?	Had you ever seen a big solid diamond?
क्या आप कभी किसी पक्षी अभयारण्य में गए थे?	Had you ever been to any bird sanctuary?
क्या उन्होंने कभी पांच सितारा होटल में एक रात ठहरने का आनंद लिया था?	Had they ever enjoyed a night stay in a five-star hotel?
