Direct-Indirect Speech - Sentences with 'Let'

मास्टर ने अपने नौकर से कहा, "कल सुबह अपने बेटे को यहाँ उपस्थित होने दो"	The master said to his servant, "Let your son be present here tomorrow morning."	The master ordered his servant to let his son be present there the next day morning.	मास्टर ने अपने नौकर को आदेश दिया कि वह अपने बेटे को अगले दिन सुबह वहाँ उपस्थित होने दे।
मास्टर ने अपने नौकर से कहा, "कल सुबह अपने बेटे को यहाँ उपस्थित होने दो"	The master said to his servant, "Let your son be present here tomorrow morning."	The master ordered his servant that his son should be present there the next day morning.	मास्टर ने अपने नौकर को आदेश दिया कि वह अपने बेटे को अगले दिन सुबह वहाँ उपस्थित हो।

यदि 'Let' वाले वाक्यों में कोई आदेश हो, तो इसे Conjunction शब्द को 'that' लगाकर भी Indirect Speech में बदला जा सकता है, और 'that' लगाने पर 'let' को should से बदलते हैं।

If there is an order in the sentences with 'Let', it can be changed to Indirect Speech by adding the Conjunction word 'that' also and on putting ‘that’ we replace 'Let' with ‘should’.

Rule No. 4

यदि वाक्य 'Let it be' से शुरू होता है, तो हम रिपोर्टिंग वर्ब 'said to' की जगह 'requested/supposed या वाक्य के अर्थ के अनुरूप शब्द से बदलते हैं. हम वाक्य के दोनों भागों को मिलाने के लिए Conjunction शब्द 'that' का प्रयोग करते हैं और 'Let it be' को 'to be' से साथ बदलते हैं।

If the sentence starts with 'Let it be', then we replace the reporting verb 'said to' with the word 'requested / supposed or according to the sense of the sentence’. We use Conjunction words 'that' to join both the parts of the sentence and replace 'Let it be' with 'to be'.

उसने कहा, "इसे मेरे बैग में रहने दो।"	She said, "Let it be in my bag."	She requested that to be in her bag.	वह चाहती थी कि वह उसके बैग में रहे।
उसने कहा, "इसे माप की इकाई होने दो।"	He said, "Let it be a unit of measurement."	He supposed that it to be a unit of measurement.	उन्होंने माना कि यह माप की एक इकाई है।

यदि वाक्य 'Let there be' से शुरू होता है, तो हम रिपोर्टिंग वर्ब 'said to' की जगह 'requested या वाक्य के अर्थ के अनुरूप शब्द से बदलते हैं. हम वाक्य के दोनों भागों को मिलाने के लिए Conjunction शब्द 'that' का प्रयोग करते हैं और 'Let there be' को 'there should be' से साथ बदलते हैं।

If the sentence starts with 'Let there be', then we replace the reporting verb 'said to' with the word 'requested or according to the sense of the sentence’. We use Conjunction words 'that' to join both the parts of the sentence and replace 'Let there be' with 'there should be'.

उसने कहा, "मेरे बारे में कोई चर्चा न होने दें।"	He said, "Let there be no discussion about me."	He requested that there should be no discussion about her.	उसने अनुरोध किया कि उसके बारे में कोई चर्चा नहीं होनी चाहिए।
रजत ने कहा, "भारत से एक अंपायर हो।"	Rajat said, "Let there be an umpire from India."	Rajat requested that there should be an umpire from India.	रजत ने अनुरोध किया कि भारत से एक अंपायर होना चाहिए।
