Note: W-family के शब्द सकारात्मक-नकारात्मक वाक्यों के बीच में भी प्रयुक्त होते हैं।

Meaning & Uses of W-Family Words

आइए W-family के प्रत्येक शब्द के मोटे तौर पर अर्थ को उदाहरणों के साथ समझते हैं:

When : कब / जब

उदाहरण
When will you join us?	आप हमसे कब जुड़ेंगे?
She told me the story when you were sleeping.	उसने मुझे कहानी सुनाई जब तुम सो रहे थे।
When are you planning on setting up a new business?	आप एक नया व्यवसाय स्थापित करने के बारे में कब योजना बना रहे हैं?

Where : कहां / जहां

उदाहरण
Where is she going at this odd hour?	वह इस बेवक्त समय में कहां जा रही है?
She is going to the temple of our society where we went in the evening.	वह हमारी सोसाइटी के मंदिर में जा रही है जहाँ हम शाम को गए थे।
Where did you park your car?	आपने अपनी कार कहां खड़ी की?

Who : कौन (आदमी के लिए)

उदाहरण
Who is your boss?	तुम्हारे बॉस कौन हैं?
We came to your school yesterday. Who was the girl standing next to you?	हम कल आपके स्कूल आए थे। आपके बगल में खड़ी लड़की कौन थी?
Who will bell the cat?	बिल्ली के गले में घंटी कौन बांधेगा?

Whom : किसको (व्यक्ति के लिए)

उदाहरण
Whom do you want to give this responsibility?	आप किसको यह जिम्मेदारी देना चाहते हैं?
I forgot the name of the person whom you gave your pen.	मैं उस व्यक्ति का नाम भूल गया जिसे आपने अपना पेन दिया था।
Whom should we select our leader?	हमें किसको अपना नेता चुनना चाहिए?
